Blüthner pianos were founded in 1853 in Leipzig, Germany, and have a history spanning over 160 years. After World War II, the German government recognized Blüthner as a national treasure. To this day, Blüthner remains the only internationally renowned luxury brand in Germany that is still managed by its founding family, carrying on a legacy of excellence across centuries.
A Century-Long Dedication
To this day, the master craftsmen at Blüthner’s Leipzig workshop continue to create pianos using traditional handcrafting techniques passed down through generations. Each piano is meticulously crafted, embodying understated elegance and grandeur. It takes nearly a year to produce a single Blüthner grand piano.
